This series evolved from photographs and sketches made whilst on residency in the Cairngorms in March 2021. The freedom to walk and explore new landscapes after lockdown resulted in a burst of new paintings.
Peering over the edge of the plateau towards Ben MacDui reveals the fantastic forms of the Lairig Ghru mountain pass, which has inspired many new works, including these statement wall hangings.
